The swimming pool industry has been slow to innovate. Concrete pools are still the most popular method of building a pool due to the ability to customise them. However, concrete pools are prone to cracking and leaking. Furthermore, the installation process takes months to complete making it a costly process. Fibreglass pools have become a popular solution, as they are fast and cost-effective to install. However, they come with their own issues too - issues such as dislodging, discolouration and osmosis. Furthermore, customisation is not an option.
